isn't that like a weird thing to say? it's like saying "folks get divorced all the time, but that doesn't mean they were every married".

"fellowship" implies something, doens't it? and what happens when we superimpose your statement/position on the narrative of adam and eve?

while it may not mean they were saved, the other side of the question must be gazed upon - that they were / are indeed. lest i tell peter that i hear a rooster...

Dogmatic or affirmation of theological statements will not save men. For although they say lord, lord and have not love they are nothing.

1 Cor 13:13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

He who believes saying, "I love you!", makes up for not loving others is lost and does not know the truth.

Without certain "theological statements" you have a false Christianity and you aren't saved either.

It's a balancing act.

Is it loving to see a blind/deaf man about to walk over a cliff and not to push him away from that path? After all, he is blind and deaf and in pushing him you way hurt his feelings?

If you do not believe rightly, then how can you know how to love rightly?

If, for example, you believe that we are reincarnated being who are in this life experiencing good or bad because of things we did in previous lives, then 'love' would be to not interfere, especially in suffering, because the suffering could be purgative and cause you to have a better life next incarnation.

If you believe that the Bible says that Jesus is the only way, and no other religious figure or god can offer salvation, then it is love to speak out against those who say that other roads can lead to God.
