20 years??? My goodness.

I keep them for 7 years; and then in January of the 8th year, out they go.

I hate when there's 2 of something open. Even if it's 2 different kinds of cereal. I think the kids (who don't eat the same kind of cereal) should finish one box before opening the other.

Yes, I know that makes no sense whatsoever.

Makes perfect sense to me!

In my bathrooms, the towels have to be hanging on the towel holder just so

They first have to be directionally correct . . . meaning the decorative bottom band showing, of all places, on the bottom. and face frontward.

They also have to be right side out; not with the edging seams on the outside.

They also have to have the top sides and bottom sides meeting. The bottom side cannot go beyond the top side (however, it's mildly acceptable for the top side to go beyond the bottom side).

Same thing for the dish towel I hang over my oven's handle.

I loathe being on the phone. I'd sooner be shot. It sometimes takes me days to work myself up to make necessary phone calls.

You guys won't believe this but, the older I get, the less I talk. I could go for 3 or 4 days without talking to anyone and be perfectly fine with that.

I've also never in my life been bored or lonely.

Well, yeah. And towels have to be folded in thirds not in half. So that the decorative whatever or monogram is centered.

From all of these you two would either be great roommates or you'd kill each other the first night.

(. . . although I don't have any monogrammed towels . . . but I still fold them in thirds . . . THAT is afterall the correct and proper and prettier way to fold towels).

I don't have any either but, as you so correctly stated, that's the proper way.

Oh, Tink, we'd be laughing too hard to even think about doing bodily damage. For the first 2 or 3 weeks anyway.

I don't like talking on the phone neither. But I seem to get in the 3 and 4 hour conversations sometimes. I'm trying to widdle that down. (How's that for completely contradictory statements).

I actually do go for days at a time without talking to anyone.

I have, howeve, periodically been bored and lonely throughout my life.

Quirk: I'm not cheap and I'm not exactly frugal. I'll pay whatever I need to pay for something, but I can't stand wasting anything. If I buy something, I'm going to use it till it's gone.

I also take very good care of anything I buy. Case in point . . . about 3 years ago, I bought a pair of pink sunglasses for $1.00. (A) I still have them and wear them everyday. (B) I take care of those things like I paid $100 for them.

I also will not buy something (no matter how little it cost) if I do not think I'm going to use it. A couple of months ago, I found a cute little glass dish that I thought would be neat to put my post earrings in. I stood in the store for probably 15 minutes weighing wether or not I should buy it. I finally chose not to buy it because it was probably about 1 or 2 millimeters bigger than what I actually wanted.

Well, if it's on the wrong way, doesn't everyone?

Oh yeah! I had to do that very often the week before last when I was at vacation. With all the people in the house I think I was the only one that put it on the right way.

I'll see that and raise ya. I have, a couple of times in the last 2 yrs, been on the phone all night and watched the sun come up while still on it. Those were people in a different time zone whom I don't get to see ever.

edit ~ Those long conversations only happen if someone calls me. 'Cause I just don't call people.

BTW, the only time I see a sunrise is if I've been on the phone all night.

I have half a bookshelf full of organizing books.[8D]

I like, and have a lot of, cookbooks but don't particularly like to cook.

God does make clones!!!!!!!!!?? Then he places us all in different places so we don't bump into each other!!!!!!

Granted I do have books about everything....but many of them are about organizing and also about being proactive/getting the important things done/not procrastinating/organizing from the inside out etc.

HA!!! Isn't it a HUGE relief to find out there are more like us out there? And, you're right, if He didn't disperse us, we'd all be in the same spot trying to do the same thing at the same time!

I've also never in my life been bored or lonely.

I have only in my life experienced loneliness twice ... and both only for a very brief amount of time (I think it was also related to bored "what am I going to do?" at the same time)

I can't tell you how good it is to see someone else say that!!

This makes me insane....

When people, and I've seen this in books as well, write or type "would of" or "should of" instead of "would've/should've or would have/should have".

At the risk of sounding like a nuttier person than I already do, I have such a rich and interesting life inside my head that, it doesn't matter how mundane my circumstances are, I always have something in my head to keep me busy. And that probably is why I've never been lonely either. I just enjoy my own company WAY too much for that.
