In the book I didn't think Bridget ever got above 132, and was as thin as 120, at which point everybody started asking her if she was sick. She was obsessing about her weight constantly but wasn't ever actually fat. She did, however, have a drinking problem--at the end of the book where she tallies up calories, alcohol units, etc, for the year, the number of alcohol units figures out to an average of 9 alcohol units a day, which is rather excessive.
