We're getting together with Thing 2's dad on Saturday and then Sunday we're attending a memorial service for the Music director at our church. She was 40 and left behind a husband and 3 kids.

Oh my, life can sure be hard at times. We have experienced a couple of young peoples deaths in the past three weeks and it is a good reminder to enjoy and love, love, and love our families every minute of every day. I am sorry for your loss.

I'm calling it a night. We are leaving very early in the morning to travel to Indiana. We plan to spend time with Soul'd Out and attend two of their concerts. We are having a hard time finding a place to stay. Everything is full. I guess, like us, the gas prices did not stop other travelers either.

Hey everyone, We got to Indiana safe and sound. It was a beautiful day to travel. All the motels are full around here (Anderson and Muncie) for some kind of volley ball thing. We are about 20 miles from tonights Soul'd Out concert and approx. 40 miles from tomorrow nights concert. Not too bad considering we drove 7 hours to get here. We are anxious to see the guys. They are always a blessing to us. Just 2 hours until concert time but who's counting?


Christie, I will tell Dusty hey for you too.

Hi Christi, Dusty was happy to hear from you. He had nice things to say about you, your family and especially little GB.
The guys were terrific last night. We had CHURCH. It was a great crowd that got involved with the music and spirit of the evening. They brought tears to my eyes twice last nite--once during Dusty's song and once during Tanner's. God was surely in that place!

Hey you guys,
Santa, Sam, Terry and Christi---We are home safe and sound. So sweet of you guys to wish us well. God is good, all the time.

The concerts were terrific! On the last night, we were on our feet more than our seats. The guys brought the house down. God was surely in that place. Dusty sang "I Need Thee Every Hour" and I think you could have heard a pin drop. He is one great guy. All of the group has just gotten better and with the addition of Michael, it is really exciting. I will have a couple of videos on youtube real soon. One features the new piano player (Michael) and the other is Tanner singing my favorite song.

You got it! So cute, I wanted to adopt him. Do you know him? The guys are really giving him a hard time but not to worry, he is fitting in just fine. 19 years old. Unbelievable talent.

He used to play the piano with Crystal River. That's how I know Dusty.


My little GB has a thing for Schroeder from the Peanuts Gang (do you know who he is?). Well, the first time she saw Michael, she was completely convinced that he was Schroeder in real life because he's young, blonde, cute as a bug and plays the piano.[:D] She thought he was so cute that she couldn't look at him during the first concert that we saw after he started with the group. After the concert, we went to talk to the guys and were introduced to Michael and she just melted when she met him...too cute!!! He has always been so sweet to her...he's a great guy and pianist!

I wish I would have known he was with Sould Out...wish you could have told him that GB said "Hi Schroeder"...he would have known exactly who you were talking about.

Thanks Santa. Always thankful for a safe trip. I was just thinking about you when we were traveling. How did that 11 hour shift go? You look good so must have been okay.
I would love for Christi to move close. Most of you guys are so far away. But you never know when things might change just like Christi.

Good to see you Tinkerbell. I've got a lot of laundry after being gone all weekend. Not a real fun day planned. I plan to get a little sun this afternoon though and do a little walking. The weather here should be perfect for my little outing.
