Yes, it probably will be at first. It would have been far more awkward for you though if you'd dated for a period of time, then split up.

Well now... he's been called a bit of a flirt and while you were initially charmed by him, you changed your opinion. Perhaps you've made him wonder about things, or perhaps he's wondering why his charm didn't last for long with you. I am not suggesting he would do anything wrong, but perhaps he's not used to someone letting him know exactly what they want.

I didn't necessarily change my opinion. I still really like him.

I'm just going to leave it in God's hands. I really haven't been stressing about it, and just see what happens. If nothing happens, then fine, I'd be okay with just being friends with him. And if God does have a plan with him and me, then great [:D]

So just an update!

Last night Luke and I talked, and we're going to go out as friends. I figure it's probably good that we take things slow. If he is interested in me and as I am interested in him, it'd be best to take things slow. So far things are happening quite nicely yet slowly. I'm getting to know him a little bit. Hopefully when we do go out for coffee and I can talk to him about his faith, I can find out where exactly he is with his relationship with God and know what kind of Christian he is and how in The Word he is.

He gave me his number last night :) I'm definitely hesitant to be the first to call so I think I'll let that up to him.

But I thought I would update you folks and let you know how things are going between him and I. I still sense that he likes me, and I definitely know that I like him.... A LOT! LOL! So we'll see what happens [:D]

just my 2 cents but if you call this guy he has got you exactly where he wants you and will play it to the max...when we want a girl we are going to do what it takes to get her and if he was already given your phone number but didn't call for a date I'd say he has already said enough. don't keep putting yourself out there

at least that is the message I have always given my daughters about dating and such.

I agree that you should let him make the call.

I'm glad that things are moving slowly. Please take care in this relationship (and any other) to protect your heart ~ ie don't rush in and fall for a guy really quickly and get hurt because he's not Mr Right (and I'd say the same to a guy about a lady!).

Yeah I definitely prayed about it and I'm leaving it in his hands.
Even after the conversation I had with him last week, he still doesn't hesitate to flirt with me and such.

Hey I thought I'd update you all on this situation. I've definitely prayed about it and been leaving it up to God what He wills for this relationship.

Luke hasn't called me, but he continuously flirts with me at work. Any time I order food from him, he generously puts it in To Go containers for me and has it ready for me when I want it. Cause he knows when I order it after my shift that I only want to take it home. So he packs it up nicely, and always has it nice and ready for me :)

Also, he's been parking his car directly next to mine lately. I finally asked him about it, and he just laughed with like an "oohh..." and it was an obvious tone in his voice and laugh that he was doing it on purpose. LOL!

I mean, me and him know there's a mutual fondness for each other, but like, I think both of us are afraid to make a move. I think that's all it is. Haha!

Last night even, me and another girl were talking to him, and he's all asking her questions, and she goes, "Why? Stop being so nosey." And I said, "Yeah he's very nosey." And he started laughing and was like, "Oh I'm getting it from both sides!"

But he's so cute, the little things he does for me or around me. [:D]
