Here is my conclusion based on what I have found.
There is one group controlling the world. It is split into three, the Trilateral Commision, the Bilderburg Group and the Council on Foreign Relations. Instead we have the fEderal reserve do it for us. It is no more a Federal institution than Federal Express is, yet it controls our finances. The Federal Reserve is made up of Bankers. The bankers belong to one of the three groups mentioned earlier. All of the presidential candidates with a serious chance at winning have ties to these groups. McCain and Clinton are both members of the CFR. Obama's wife is even head of the Chicago chapter.
It is my belief that these groups were behind 9/11 and the War in Iraq. There was knowledge that something would be happening that day. You can find that out easily enough. The CIA has a meeting ever month and, once enough time has passed, what went on at the meeting is released to the public. Except for the meeting preceeding the 9/11 attacks. The9/11 attacks gave America an excuse to go to war. Going to war gave the government an excuse to take away freedom for security (though in reality we have lost both)and it convienently put America into a position where they could set up a new government in Iraq (or Babylon if you prefer) and control the oil supply.
Now for a history lesson. During the crusades there was a group of warrior knights who discovered something beneath the old temple. In the Da Vinci code they say it is the holy grail. I believe it was the Ark of the Covenant. What ever it was it gave them enormous power, influence and wealth. It also gave them enemies. They took the name the Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon, or Knights Templar. They were the worlds first bank. In 1307 King Phillip of France (who was under financial trouble) pressured the Pope to do something about the Knights Templar. The result was a mass slaughter of all the Templar Knights. But the order survived.
It evolved over time into the Scottish Right of Freemasonry also known as, the Freemasons. But another group also merged with the Freemasons, the Illuminati. This happened slowly, just as America was being born. In fact, 55 of the founding fathers were Freemasons. It is believed that the Freemasons are a peaceful group, but the 33rd degree master masons are the Illuminati.
George H. W. Bush was a 33rd degree master mason. He spoke of a New World Order. He was also head of the CIA when they stopped investigating the Illuminati. He was also a member of the Skull and Bones society, a secret society at Yale in which promising young men are groomed and placed into positions of power. The reverse the Great Seal ofthe United States is a pyramid with an all seeing eye. This is an Illuminati symbol. Pyramids do not figure into American history. On the seal are the words "Novus Ordo Seclorum" which, in English, means New Order of the Ages, sometimes translated as either New World Order or New Secular Order.

Nope. I dislike the history channel because they never actually tell you anything new. They just give basic facts and then opinions, or at least what I've seen.
