Today is the official start of Hurricane Season. Hawaii has not been hit by a hurricane in several years...Which make me think we are due for a BIG one.[sm=smile-l.gif]

Actually the Pacific season begins May 15th. But being prepared is the most important thing - regardless of when the seasons begin.

Gas has hit $4.00 one the island of Oahu. It hit $4.00 on Maui in mid-March. Of course when they say that it more like $4.10 or $4.15

not horrible...so that's an improvement! lol spent the afternoon at my folks'. had a nice lunch and just hung out. updated my resume this evening. tomorrow...i hit the job search head-on!

I was going to spend my Sunday afternoon nap in the hammock, but after about 5 minutes I realized that the temperature had to be somewhere in the mid to high 90s and even on my beautiful, breezy deck, that was too warm for napping!

Yep, you're right. I live in Rossville, which is just a rock's throw from TN. I work in Chattanooga, and it takes me about 15 minutes to get there from my house.

And yes, I agree...it is absolutely beautiful! I've been many places in my singing travels, and with the exception of the NC mountains, this is the MOST beautiful place I've ever been!
