Have you ever seen someone (a blast from your past) that you thought you'd never see again? (and were hoping to keep it that way) :)
Just thought I'd toss that question out there. It recently happened to me.

Hmmm, yes it has happened a couple of times here and there. Then there are those divine appointments that God put people in your path.
There is at least one homeless person who I have seen/known on the streets since the 1980's.

That's neat. That's a long time to have known that homeless person, huh? I'm sure he/she could use your prayers.
I recently watched a movie called, "The Second Chance", with Michael W. Smith in it and it was very thought provoking and well done. The movie had many themes, but one of them was about this inner city church that did outreach to the homeless. (That's what made me think of it...)
Have you heard of "The American Carol" movie? The clips on t.v. made it look very funny, but then when I read some reviews online; I wasn't sure I'd like it. They always show the very best clips on t.v. and sometimes the movies just don't deliver. Ya know?

...Speaking of the beach... (the title of this thread)
We just went last Sunday afternoon toward sunset and it was so relaxing! We've hit a cooler period now, where we're only in the 80's pretty much now. Much more enjoyable! I was thinking about possibly going this evening -- we'll see. The kids always sleep good after breathing in the fresh ocean air! :)

No I haven't seen Smitty's movie, but I have hear of it though. I haven't heard of "This American Carol" at all.

We're taking a little trip soon & we'll try it out. I always say that my kids were born with a "techno" gene, and that I seemed to miss the boat on the that one. My older son could easily figure electronics out, etc. :) Technology sure has changed just in the last 10-15 years. When I tell my kids we didn't have a VCR or Cable when I was little, they can hardly believe it. :)

I am still behind the curve when it comes to new technology. I'd rather stick with what I already know instead.
