I thought the person did a great job on this video.

Like many here have said it made me think that I really need to be more bold in my faith. I would hate for anyone I care about to go to hell or anyone for that matter.

I have to say it's very difficult to reach folks at work though

I totally agree. My husband cried after viewing it.

Yeah, my eyes welled up over this one too... shh

Yes of course it is all of God to bring one to salvation, and since i follow reformed theology im well aware of this. What then, do we not witness to those in our lives?, of course we do, because we are commanded to. If not for that reason then let it be so no one at judgement can bring the charge that they "didnt know".

There was another video with the Letter from Hell video that I watched about a man who had a near death experience. He had crashed in an airplane and died but then was brought back to life. He related his encounter with the after life. He was a nonbeliever at the time he died. He came back to life a believer. Whether his experience was real or not, it seemed a more realistic story than the Letter from Hell video.

Which Scripture accommodates for a nonbeliever to die, go to hell, and then become saved while in hell?

Sounds bogus to me.

I hope who ever made the video reads the comments left for them and replies back to them. About why they wrote it and layed it out like they did because I looked and there was an atheist, who did a video response that did not help the cause. Maybe the person who did post it could do another post regarding the topic to explain to non believers that it was a bold reminder to those christians that have not been out there reaching the lost for God like He told us to.

I can't remember the scripture reference but it says: "Be a witness to all nations, tribes, and tongues."

We are to preach the gospel, not sit back and do nothing while watch for God. Otherwise He wouldn't have told us this :

Mar 16:15 And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

Why would He tell us this, if this is not what He meant for us to do?

If we feel guilty about not spreading the gospel, it's probably because we are guilty.
The Bible and certain sermons, I agree can cause one to "feel" guilty. Sometimes it's called conviction and other times it's called spiritual abuse.

The creator of this video seems to be stressing the point, that we don't do enough to spread the gospel. The message reached me. He follows the Letter to Hell up, with "Don't Bother Me". As a society, the majority walk around with blinders on, only paying attention to the very small world that we live in, without ever looking farther and beyond our own scope. not only do we not see the prostitutes, homeless and addicts, what about the elderly shut ins? the families who have just lost a loved one tragically?

The gospel is The Good News for all to hear. His point being is this was his best friend. He loved him and never heard......

I, too, find this video very distirbing - it's not the way to win converts and puts guilt on Christians. It is my firm believe that God can make himself known to everyone and everyone will have until their last breath to call out to Jesus, we cannot know if another is saved. I'm not suggesting that we sholdn't witness to others, of course we should. If I was a non believer watching that video, it would totally turn me off Christianity. We need to spread God's love not fear and this is totally out of line.

You do realize of course that the bibles teaching on hell far outweighs that of heaven. just a thought

Yes, and I guess I assumed we all knew that, sorry. BUT my neighbors salvation isn't up to me. No one can say that they are in Hell because they never heard. I posted those verses in Romans for a reason.

Doesn't anyone get tire of hearing, "We don't do enough!!" I know I do. Not all will be "saved" and we have to relaize that. Sorry, I just hate exagerated theology.

The guy did NOT go to hell. He prayed to God for another chance and God gave him another chance.

It's a near death experience so yes his heart stopped and he was bring back to life after a certain period of time. While he was dead he saw hell and he prayed to God: please give me life , give me another chance. And God gave it to him. Since then he believe in God.

Sounds like a fabricated story. If he saw hell, he wasn't "near death." He died. That is, assuming hell is ready for people to be thrown into in the first place.

Additionally, if he was in the place of judgment, there is no asking God for more life. You don't get to ask God to let you out once your toast.

The guy came back from his experience completely changed. Now he deeply believe in God. A testimony is always a question of believing the person or not. The guy is completely burn, half of his face. His arm is also burn , he lost fingers. So why would he show himself in that 'state', in public to tell a lie about God? He ask for people to turn to God.

Anyway true or false, i'm happy with him that he found the Lord.

Lufia,
If you don't believe that God sends non-believers to hell, has this guys story convinced you?
