Hi all...
I've been trying to grow my own forum for a bit. I frequent macnn forums and really enjoy the community there, but as my forum will have more of a theology focus I thought this question might better suit here. I'm curious what brings you back. what you like about these forums.

what sort of questions you like to post and answer. etc...

any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm curious if you discuss mostly things that are related to christianity or mostly other topics but feel comfortable in this crowd... what is it?

the people that are here. A lot come and go over the years, but the ones that stay definitely make this community my favorite forum and the one I have continually come back to over the past 7 years (at least)

I mostly stay in the "daily life" kind of discussions...however I like that best here vs other places because of the freedom to talk about Christianity in my daily life without having people criticize that.

Oh, I have wanted to start a similar thread, but since you started this one, I will just answer you.

I love CW because when I come here, nothing gets in the way of chatting -- I don't really know if you are fat or skinny, young or old, in your jammies or your business suit, if your desk is starkly clean or cluttered (like mine), at home or at work or in a library, drinking tea or eating sorbet.... It just doesn't matter here! I really like that.

I'll second Abiyah, being accepted for who I am without having to compromise. Also, I love having friends literally all over the world.

In this forum, I like the fact that this forum has subsections divided up for people by age and gender. That is pretty neat. And even particular subjects.
