ORIGINAL: BugLady I've heard it said that when you go for a job interview you should be sure your shoes look good. Prospective employers look at your shoes. Getting that job may boil down to whether or not you wore the right shoes. Do you think the same thing applies (no pun intended) for dating? Men, do you prefer women in sensible shoes? Women, do you even look at what the man has on his feet? Ok, I have seen this thread around for at least a few days now and finally decided to click on it, and happy that I did! Anyway, what kind of shoes make an impression? High Heels and ballet flats and pumps, positive impression for a date. Crocs, sneakers, etc, bad impression for a date instead. [:D] quote:

ORIGINAL: .Pammy Appropriateness is the key, for sure. I wear comfortable flats most of the week, but I like heels (not probably more than 2 inches) for church, concerts, and other nice occasions. I can feel the change in stance. Kimberly, you didn't wear heels when you were driving, did you? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'm surprised nobody's mentioned toe cleavage yet. I love to try to show a little. [;)] yes, pammy...i have actually done that! lol the last day of our CDL training, our group of 4 students (2 men and 2 women) and 1 instructor all went for a 3 hr drive. we all took turns. well...the other woman and i had had the SAME idea that morning and both of us wore high heels (mine were 3-1/2" stillettos, of course). the men didn't think i could do it...but i did! and when i parked that big boy at the truck stop and got out to walk into the restaurant...a bunch of drivers that had been watching the student driver-plastered truck all started honkin their air horns. it was a riot!!!! (i curtsied and waved, of course [:)] ) Weird Al sings a song called "Driving a Truck" where its this really deep manly voice singing about driving his semi while wearing high heels. Pam, you now have that song stuck in my head every time I look at this thread. I hope you're satisfied. [8D] Woah, now I missed that one! Is it on his latest CD?
