Just guessing, but I think Juneteenth is my daughter's favorite holiday!
Normally, the end of the school year, her dance recital, and Father's Day (she's a Daddy's Girl) all run together. Somehow she also figured out she could celebrate her birthday all month long.
This year, though, she turned eighteen and graduated from high school on the same day (June 8)!
Yup! Juneteenth!
