Other people -> (Groans in 4 part harmony)

Person 1 -> "Ahhhhhh music to my ears"

Ahhh.... Another 'Pun-isher.' Music to my funny bone!

How about just before the GT, no PDA's!

utilityfielder -> RE: 2008 GT Quote Thread (6/12/2008 7:44:59 PM)

Wouldn't it be funny to put John and Ray in the same room? [:D]

Actually... I think most people would think such an idea would be exceptionally scary! With all the puns flying back and forth, we'd probably only last a few hours before everyone tried to gang up on us to make us be quiet. Hmmm... I think I have an idea of a movie now..... Two 'pun-artists' having a pun contest, but before either could win, their beaten without mercy. Title? "Silence of the Corns"

utilityfielder -> RE: 2008 GT Quote Thread (6/12/2008 8:01:39 PM)

I do love good puns (and I know the term "good" is subjective ).

mutinywxgirl -> RE: 2008 GT Quote Thread (6/12/2008 8:07:14 PM)

So, Ray - I think you need to invite John to the wedding. [:D]

I don't think that Sharon would like that too much.... She has to deal with my humor on a daily basis. Having two 'professional pun artists' in the same room might be too much for her to bare. Though, his daughter looks likes she's around the same age of my niece (who's 7) and Ari, my best friend (and best man) girl (who's 5). Hmmmm... Contemplations... Contemplations...

LOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Glad I can cause Sharon MORE things to worry about. [;)]

You and John - together - would be frightening......truly frightening.....especially since I've met you both. [:D]

Starts to look for the invitations that Sharon has yet to bring to his place.... Then realizes that he doesn't have John_O's mailing address, anyways.... Well, the good news is, Sharon is bring her invitations tomorrow so that we can get some (maybe even all of them) done this weekend.

This year, I don't think I actually did. Plus, if I had it (still), it would have been packed away... Hmmm... Let me see if I have one from a couple years ago...

(edited to add)
John_O, I found an address, sent it to you via PM to see if it's correct or not...

KuKu -> RE: 2008 GT Quote Thread (6/28/2008 10:31:16 PM)

Hey guys, I just wanted to thank you all for another great GT. I was stretched differently this year than last, but I have found that GT stretching is a good thing[;)] (OK mostly[8D]). This year's GT found me doing things I wasn't comfortable with at first (skimming across the water at 40 mph on basically rubberized air for example[:D]), like last year (getting into the water at all!!!), but also dealing with some other things in my life, and interpersonal dynamics.

I find it interesting how much it translates into the rest of my life- willing to do things I am not at first comfortable with (dude- bungee like carnival ride- go upppppppppppppppppppppp then boing, back up, etc.- I'd NEVER have considered it before- very fun with your eyes closed[8D]), going into deeper/faster water slides/rides, being less hidden around people I don't know, etc. Today at work I noticed that even my claustrophobic reaction to small rooms at work is less than it was. It's kinda cool to see it all work this way.

Interestingly enough, it all boils down to who you trust, and being willing to trust them more [the captain (until he tried to flip me into the water[sm=growlwarning.gif]] and others in the group I may just need to rescue me, my family members, real friends at work, etc.)

This may not make sense to ya'll[;)], or you may just not be interested[:)], but that's cool[:D]- at least I have gotten a minute of your time- which I might add, you can never get back[8D]

mutinywxgirl -> RE: 2008 GT Quote Thread (6/29/2008 12:58:48 AM)

That is SO incredibly awesome!!!!!!!!!!! No wonder you were on my mind today. [:)]
