Praying for you Orange! Just something to ponder. Jesus forgave the men from the cross, who NAILED Him there, whipped him, and did every imageinable thing to HIM. He asked God to forgive them. Wow. There truly is nothing you can do to make Him not love you. But it is time to smile, and receive it, and truly believe He is who He says He is! Our SAVIOR. Wow. He came FOR all of us. He LOVES all of us. It is amazing. Rest in the peaceful sweet Truth of that. Love pw

Hey my friend, i haven't talked to you in a minute...Is there no way that you can call a christian counselor or pastor to at least maybe talk to someone over the phone. That is if you can't get out to go see them in person. OC, my heart breaks for you so badly..I know how this feels. I really do. I went through this, but not to this extreme. I wish there was a way I could be there to get you to the help you need. Please try to call someone or call the pastor please please friend.... I am praying for you.. kc

I'll be praying too. Try to meditate on the truth (from the Bible). Getting around other Christians that can encourage you is good too. Take care.

(((orangecrush)))) Maybe what's been said here hasn't seemed to help you too much, as I think you are saying. I think that you are primarily dealing with physical problems which are affecting your mind, perhaps playing tricks on you. But I was thinking about you and praying and it came to mind the scripture verse about taking 'the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God'; which is any case meant to be a comfort to us. So once again, I'd encourage you to read God's word, verses of encouragement especially, and apply your gift of faith to them. I am writing this to myself as well as you actually... I'm not going through exactly the same thing right now; my need of comfort has more to do with continued grief over my Dad's passing, and also today is my younger brother's birthday who passed away some years ago. So, for you and me and whoever else might need them, here are some scripture verses of comfort I found at a website set up just for this purpose, to encourage those who need it. May God --"....the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort," (2 Corinthians 1:3) bless the reading of His word, so that we can also say, "But God, who comforts the depressed, comforted us....." We are praying brother..... &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& When you are troubled... "Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). When you are lonely... "Fear thou not; for I am with thee. Be not dismayed; for I am thy God. I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of My righteousness" (Isaiah 41:10). When you are anxious... "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). When you are afraid... "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1). When you face trials... "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing this, that the testing of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking nothing" (James 1:2-4). When you are tempted... "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not permit you to be tempted above that ye are able, but will, with the temptation, also make the way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). When you need strength... "My grace is sufficient for thee; for My strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9). When you need wisdom... "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, who giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not, and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering" (James 1:5-6a). When you need forgiveness... "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). When you need assurance... Jesus promises, "He that heareth My word, and believeth on Him that sent Me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but is passed from death unto life" (John 5:24). I know this kind of depression and anxiety can be devestating. I couldn't help but look at your post because I have felt "swallowed up by darkness" many times. It is difficult to "take your thoughts captive," but it can be done with practice. At my darkest moments, I have done nothing but repeat "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." At the very instant that a negative thought came into my head -- which was every minute -- I repeated this verse. I slowly found it to be healing. I pray for you during this time OC.

Wordsnpic that is a powerful verse. Yes sometimes it is just one verse that will help me through dark times too. And also in times that have been darkest, music often has had a strengthening/healing affect-- Christian music especially. One song in particular I recall that ministered to me when I was feeling like this was called 'One Sweet Word of God' by Nancy Honeytree. (Part of the lyrics go, "One sweet word of God talked to me tonight, one sweet word of God put my enmity to flight....".) I think you should try listening to Christian music that you enjoy. As I've said, I believe I am ocd, and for me anyways, the musical repetition can be sort of like 'fighting fire with fire' as the saying goes, when I'm sort of stuck in the same 'groove' so to speak, it helps move the focus on to something more positive which is what the Lord wants for us. Thanks for the hug Casey . Ive forgotten what those are like . I just wanted to let you know friday ill be going to have 2 mri's . One for my brain and the other for my spine . I tried to tell the ( brain doctor , soryy cant spell it ) that my muscles hurt because i have ocd problems and its latched on to my faith but i seem to have symptoms of MS . Thats how awefull this is . I have MS symptoms from all the constant terror . Oh and i know its hard to believe and it would be hard for me to if it wasnt happening to me but no i dont have anyone to help me . Ever since i got divorced ( because my ocd disabled me , she left ) for the past 5 years i only go to doctors . The past year ive went to church regularly untill the ocd got worse but nobody has called to see whats going on . You know i could almost die amd nobody know it for awhile . Its strange , i mean when i look in the mirror you wouldnt think i am like i am . I mean no friends at all . Wow that is pathetic . i cant even believe i pour my real heart on here . I cant imagine how this sounds . Im glad yall cant see me now . Thanks for the prayers Kc and Casey , HUGS .

Not only is this a lie from the devil, but I have bipolar and depression. When Im not right mentally, I think these same things. Those words play over and over in my head. Please keep in mind that you may have depression or anxiety. Talk to your DR. Dont let Santan steel your joy. A mild antidepessent might do the trick. Did you have a bad childhood? Satan preys on people like us. Please talk to your DR. Jesus loves you more than you know.

((((OC))))) Good to hear from you. I'm glad that you come here so we can support you in prayer and Christian friendship but it's important to interact with people in your area too. Is your family nearby? As KC said you could call the pastor and I'm wondering if there might be an OCD support group in your area. It's important to get out with others in some way. It is a shame that so many churches don't follow up when people stop coming. I've had that happen too though sometimes people think they are bothering or hounding others when they call. Try going to another church-- just pray about which one and God will show you. Or you can just try a different one each week (sort of a church visitation program which I've done before) and see which one you like. Hang in there brother God will bring you through this-- perhaps with a bit of help from others. We'll be praying.

Hi my friend..I am praying for you and for the dr appts, I pray they go well. Please let us know how things go after you go ok!...I miss talking to ya! I am still praying for you, keep your head up and just keep going!! You are not pathetic, we all love you here and we are praying for you! You know this world has changed so much and society has really distorted things, that is why I am actually glad I stay to myself. This world is so messed up and I am glad I am not a part of messing it up!! I just want to love everybody and try to be there for those I care about!! praying for you OC!!!! pm me ok! kc

OC, I still have you on my prayer list, like others here . I pray for you each morning. I agree with other posts, the devil is trying to steal your life and what is that? If you believe, he can't touch you. I've gone thru panic attacks,anxiety that made me almost pass out while driving.God saw to it to get me off road and stopped. I've seen depression, heard things, but thru all of it God has been with me. By the Grace of God, we've all been tested and saved. God still answer prayers, He's still there, he's everywhere. Get into the Word of God and stay there. It's the only thing to do. I am praying for you now. Connie Lou

We love you hear and God loves you, that is all that matters and noone NOONE can tell you any different.
