Offer to babysit a hyperactive child.

If I did that, I'd be sure to get a lot of "I don't like that," or "I'm on a special diet and I can't eat that." Too hard to please everybody!

Pay the neighbor's child to mow your grass.

Hmm... that sounds like fun. Wait a minute, who's that I see in that blue uniform down the street? Suddenly it doesn't sound like quite as good of an idea anymore.

Scrub the bathroom. Be sure to get it sparkly clean and germ-free.

She chokes herself whenever we try to put her on the leash, trying to walk us. She exercises herself by herding a basketball in the back yard, though, so she doesn't need to be walked.

Buy my dog a new basketball.

I couldn't fit 18 people around my kitchen table. And who's going to do the clean-up?

Help a 7-year-old do homework.

I don't want to Cook; I want to Order!

Go to the lake, have a picnic, and then go swimming after you eat!

Unless it's at least 85 degrees outside, I do not like swimming. It's September; it's too late and cold for swimming.

Bring me a cough drop for my sore throat.
