Fox is pure chaos program schedule wise on the weekend nights. A sharp contrast to their weekday prime time lineup that is like clockwork. My DirecTv program guide is usually wrong on Fox News weekends. I don't think they rerun old shows too often (if O Reilly is absent there is a guest host) but you might catch something in the wee hours of the morning, but those are usually shows from the past week.
Miller also has a radio show but I'm not sure how far reaching it is.
BTW: he is heavily involved in a charity that supports our troops.

I haven't read all of the posts so I'm posting cold. I'm sure I've missed tons. I listen to secular music sometimes, mostly because my ears need something different to listen to. I love music, but when I became a Christian, I stopped listening to secular music for a time. I listened to a lot of Gospel and CCM, but within a relatively short period of time I grew really bored with what was out there and I stopped listening to music altogether with the exception of a few songs here and there.
Now, I listen only to what I like, which is all over the map. I tend to like things that are very unique, original, perhaps there is a vocal quality that I enjoy, a lyric, chord changes - intricate vocal arrangements - anything that really piques my interest and feeds me musically. It goes without saying that if there is a certain kind of darkness to a song that is spiritually disturbing (which is in a lot of music today), I do not listen to it. I pay a lot of attention too to how I feel during and after I listen to a piece of music. If something disturbs my peace, not in a good way - like making me feel concerned about something that is happening in the world - but in a bad way - I won't listen again.
If I like a song, I will listen to it over and over and over and over again for days - even weeks on end. For example, I loved "Para Ti" by Juan Luis Guerra. I listened to it every time I was in the car - over and over again for two weeks (I drive alone most of the time so I wasn't driving anyone else crazy - LOL). It fed my spirit. It was about how God can do everything and nothing is impossible. I understood enough spanish to really be blessed by it. I found it to be musically interesting as well.

sorry it long for me to reply but had to work and make money. sure you can start a thread, because people need to understand that foundations of american music comes from struggle and suffering.

you will soon, my son and i are practicing and having alot of fun especially now that i bought a new effects pedal for my bass(shakes the roof of the house).

But Ken, I don't even have enough knowledge to start such a thread. You do. I have been struggling for the last few days to just find the music of a man I once heard who absolutely took my breath away with his song, but I can't find him because I can't remember his name. I have been looking on the Internet without success.
Oh! I may have just remembered a way!
But I would love to learn from you.
The song that has been on my mind lately is Jesus Lay Your Head in the Window by William Henry Huff. I have tried to find all the words to that song, because all I remember is the chorus. I want to add it, by the Breath of Life Quartet, and lots of the songs by the man I mentioned above, to my MP3.

i have no idea who william henry huff is, but i work with someone that might know. you see, i didn`t grow up on gospel music. i actually found it kind of boring, i didn`t know about the gospel rock and metal bands until the eighties. i saw a video of the REZ band on the POWER HOUR on a channel called U68(ANY NEW YORKERS REMEMBER THIS CHANNEL LET ME KNOW), after that i saw STRYPER(yes they wore the yellow outfits). just remember this, THE BLUES, JAZZ, ROCK N ROLL , SOUL AND RAP, comes from people that have suffered a great deal(why does the caged bird sing? TO keep from going crazy).

Okay, Ken.  I understand. I don't like music that is loud, like what I hear from the cars of the young people. That drives me nuts, especially at 1 - 4 a.m. 
Thing is I am just an old woman, set in my ways, who likes MY music. I'll admit it. I know little about the pain and turmoil others have gone through. Mine did not turn into music; it turned into anger, and I am glad to be rid of that. When I sing the blues, I know I am far-removed from it, but I love it and sing anyway -- because it is FUN! And I often change the lyrics to make it funny. When I sing spirituals, it is out of love for my L-rd and the changes he has made in me, not because of anger or pain.
I guess I am not really one to learn from a thread you might open. But hey -- it was a thought!

I remember hearing about U68, in the Boston area we had V66 instead.

In the couple of posts that I added to this thread I stated I love music in general be it Christian or otherwise. I love the emotions that people illustrate or share through their lyrics. I truly try to see it from their perspective and what they are trying to communicate to us as the listener. I stay away from artists whose topics are meaningless to me, be it glorifying sex, drugs, etc. Christian music in general if you think about it is geared towards believers who enjoy praising God and can share the commonality of their faith and the message of encouragement it brings. There are Christians in the mainstream who choose to be amongst the secular industry and use their music to reach the nonbelievers. It opens up doors for them to ask what makes them so different from other performers who don't know Christ. When you listen to their lyrics their beliefs are present. I'm reading a book right now by Mark Joseph called - Faith. God. and Rock & Roll. He wrote it a couple of years ago but is still relevant to today. He talks about Christian artists who choose to be in the mainstream and prefer to be called Christians who play music. Some feel that this is their mission statement to reach the loss. I'm only half way through it but it is very good and answers a lot of questions about all I touched base on. As far as secular music goes you can tell what is important in that persons life by the message they communicate in their music.

I listen to almost exclusively secular music...most CCM just doesn't "do it" for me. It's the music, the production, the arrangement, etc.
Right now I'm sorta hung up on a kind of obscure CD by Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades called "Inspirations"...old 60's/70's songs, remakes..Simon & Garfunkel, Seals & Crofts, Buffalo Springfield, Mamas & The Papa's...stuff I LOVE...and I like the Shaw/Blades spin, lots of well played acoustic guitar...
I also like metal...and southern rock, and Jimmy Buffett (not sure where he falls).
Christian music...most of it sounds like bubble gum pop...ICK

Music is so personal. I turn my nose up at country-western, (forgive me, please) southern gospel, any music preoccupied by violins, rap, and any music with gutter-lyrics. -- And any music played so loudly that it invades my personal space. Other than that, I enjoy all kinds of music, but my favorite to listen to is what I also hear at my place of worship.
At work, music makes pleasant background noise. Sometimes, I listen to CCM there. Most CCM doesn't bother me at all, but there are some CCM songs, singers, and styles that make me want to climb the office wall -- especially anything that sounds country. That gets snapped off in a hurry.
And sometimes I listen to my chosen music on my MP3. Admittedly, it is mainly filled with music like that I hear at my place of worship, with the addition of a few songs I like and with trumpet and piano music.
Admittedly, I prefer to hear music that specifically glorifies my L-rd, but I certainly am not limited to only this music.
