I apologize if I'm asking too many questions but they're important to me.
I was once doing a Bible study with my sister when we came across one passage. As she read, I had to stop her b'c she skipped a line containing something about "Jesus". The entire line was missing, not reworded or translated, but missing. I showed her my version (King James) and she, being a life-long Christian, was very disturbed by it. My question is, if there's one passage changed or missing, how many others are there? And is it just lost in translation or is it certain translations that do this? Are there any translations we should avoid?
