SM....Did the population of PF decrease this morning with all the touristers getting out of town. Santa said earlier that traffic was backed up on 66 nearly to Tonys. I'd bet it's backed up this morning with them getting out of town.

I bet it is, too, Bobby!

I haven't checked yet.

I was going to go to breakfast earlier this morning, but decided to wait to go to a late lunch this afternoon.

Right now, I'm paying bills and doing paperwork . . . waiting for the road traffic and restaurant crowds to thin out.

Good Afternoon! Had a great time time at worship this morning. The Pastor's wife brought her brand new 5 day old baby to church this morning and there were ooohs and aaaahhs everywhere!

If you wanna see pictures of the newest addition to our church family check out this link;
There's a slide show of about 8 or 10 pictures on our church website.

What a precious little baby!!

Hope everyone had a good church service this morning. I came home and put on a crock pot full of pinto beans and ham. Can't wait for those to cook!! I have to run out to the market later and buy some onions to go with the beans.

I definitely got the makings for corn bread... and I have iced tea (but I don't like it! ). I prefer pink lemonade.

Guess all the people did head home because Olive Garden was not busy at all after church. Went right in and was seated. Many empty tables.

Bobby, hope that rain that is delaying the Braves game is also putting some water in Lake Lanier.

It ain't putting any around my house. Talked with Nancy from Powder Springs a few minutes ago and she said they were getting a lot. It's cloudy here but no signs of rain.

Isn't this the strangest weather? I mean, it was pouring here last weekend as I was driving home and then when I got here, nothing. It was dry here. And I read where PF had rain yesterday and all we got were a few sprinkles.

Usually, Olive Gardens around here are packed all the time. Its always a wait for us to go in and get seated. We don't go there often for that very reason.

I love Olive Garden's chicken alfredo. I have eaten alfredo in different restaurants, but always think their's is the best.

I rarely remember to buy the frozen stuff because my family usually turns up their noses. They are spoiled!! One of these days, I will remember to make up some casseroles and freeze them. Manchild loves my shepherd's pie.

I have to admit I hate to cook anymore...but I try to use the frozen entrees rarely...usually lasagna, pot pies on occassion and I like the afore mentioned chicken alfredo...lot of times I keep that around to add to a meal or for lunch because there isn't really enough to be a main entree for dinner.

Yeah, that is one thing I noticed about those frozen entrees. Apparently, the people at Stouffer's don't know my family's appetite. Or anyone else's either.

Yep...they call it family size...I'm thinking family size??? What do they consider family size??? A cup of something isn't going to fill up my kids...well maybe my 4 year old but not the rest of us. We don't eat huge servings...in fact I found when we ate out in PF and at Tony's there was wayyyyy too much food. I have a family of 4 and sometimes 6 depending on if eldest and his girl are eating with us...so one "family size" entree doesn't work. Now what will I fix for dinner tonight will depend on how fast the A/C guy gets here and fixes my cooling issue. It's now 96* outside and 85* in my house! The guy was suppose to be here by 2pm...just called him and he said he's in the neighborhood!!! The first person we called wanted double the fee and couldn't be here until after 5pm!

Without AC I might 'cook' a bucket of KFC with two sides. Be a lot cooler that way.
