Hi, DougHorton. I sure did not intend to bring up absurdity. for to me, it is not one. Wish I had time to sit down tonight and write back, but poor me! I gotta go to the 4th at my daughter's house after doing it all day at my son's house.

I would simply request this tonight: Discussion and debate are good. They help both sides to come to conclusions, to study to learn what is absolutely true, even is we end up with different opinions. This kind of activity glorifies G-d when we don't fall into berating, name-calling, etc., which has not happened in this thread.

Everyone has been completely wonderful through this thread, and I think it is a great example of how we are to find truth. I look at this thread and am proud of every one who has joined in.

I will be back to answer you, but please do not see what we have written as argument. There is a difference. And in fact, this kind of study was and still is what is commonly used in the synagogues, what Messiah join in, what the the disciples did, and what all the people in Judaisms of the first century did. It is not a negative thing: it is a learning tool.
