I have to get a LOT of paperwork done tomorrow... I need no interruptions and be full of energy. This will be a marathon day. Any suggestions?

Stay up all nite, drinking lots of PEPSI and coffee. Go to bed about an hour before your alarm is set to go off. This should be plenty of sleep for you to be bright-eyed and bushy-tailed in the morning...

Probably the very best thing to do is to stay right here all day so "we" can help you ... we can keep the advice flowing as it comes up.

Another tidbit ... make sure you bring your kitty for companionship. I am sure he can help you knock over those piles into the appropriate file (... like onto the floor and into the trash ... )

... and don't forget to keep your cell phone nearby ... in fact leave lots of messages the night before to love ones asking for advice and have them call you as you tackle the job. That way as things come up ... you have the council coming in all day long to help.

Drinking Pepsi definitely qualifies as bad advice.

While in the same room as one of your parents (and your sibling is NOT in said room), yell at the top of your lungs, "(S)he HIT ME!"

Trust me, it is VERY annoying...

Technically, since we're supposed to be giving bad advice in response to a question, shouldn't we say something that actually would not annoy the parents?

So I guess a really poor way to try to annoy your parents would be to say, clean your room without being asked to.

(See, it may actually be good advice, but because the question is asking how to annoy them, and this won't do it, that makes it bad. And if you can wrap your brain around that you deserve a cookie.)

I understand perzackerly what it is you are saying, but I'll pass on the cookie. My intentions were that if you do what I describe, you are sure to get in trouble, which is BAD...

Remember - this is for BAD advice (as Robb tried to explain) - so, it's really the opposite of what we're asking for in our questions.

Clear as mud?????

Okay, the truly best way to annoy any parent is to get up at 4am, make a full breakfast WITH coffee, wash all the breakfast dishes, make all the beds, clean your room, do the laundry, do your homework, practice the piano/flute/singing/soccer, and then have dinner ready when they get home....ALL WITHOUT COMPLAINING!!!
