ORIGINAL: gaylel1 If anyone loses a love one, and especially a husband or even a child, you have those questions and sometimes you question God at times. But you also come to the conculsion in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for the good--we don't understand it, but God has his plans and he's working behind the scenes to encourage to understand why.[/font] Excellent post and exactly right. We'll find out all the why's when we get home. Until then we just have to trust. And I agree with the others that it's perfectly OK to ask why.

I think its built into our nature to ask why. God may or may not answer. But I wouldn't believe wondering (or questioning) why would be a sin or incorrect. quote:
John_O Until then we just have to trust. You nailed it. I've ask God why on many things. Most I get is silence. Out of the blue I received what I had been praying about and discovered 'why". Had it been earlier, it would have been disaster, and not the blessing it was (and still is)
