Other than "pick your teeth," what can you do with a toothpick?

Test to see if a cake is done

Put a wad of chewed chewing gum onto a brick, stick one end of the toothpick into it. Then glue on a rectangle of paper to the other end of the toothpick, and voila! A teenie tiny flag pole. Then put it into the "what you can do with a brick" thread. [:D]
