So what if a person has only a high school education - does that make him/her any less attractive than a person with a master's degree? At least he is a hard worker, doing all he can to make a decent salary to live on. That doesn't make him any less qualified as a decent person than a stockbroker on Wall Street.
I work in the copy center at our area Staples, and I enjoy my work. That shouldn't make me any less attractive than someone who is an administrative assistant (I used to be one of those, and I grew to hate it), or an executive secretary. My job title should not have anything to do with how I look, or how intelligent I am. What I have on the inside is what I am all about, not what people see on the outside.
Cavi- I am an ex-admin asst (though I took the entire job on when my boss moved on) who is now a housekeeper at a medical facility. I was telling someone today that I love the job a hundred times more, especially the mobile vs. sedentary aspect, along with being able to make someone smile and make a difference. I've been on both sides of the coin, as well as having been a teacher, and this is the job I have so far most enjoyed  I agree that the title doesn't matter, but it's always interesting to see what others think, and why, which is the purpose of the OP

I will watch him sit outside for an hour or two just looking up at the trees. Thanks for post 77 GNM! I had missed the slam on engineers in here and wouldn't have known to be offended. I hate to miss a good undie knotting session!!
Actually I agree with you. Some engineers should never be let out of their offices. Heaven forbid permitted to handle tools!

I think it's another way of saying "getting their undies in a knot"--only in noun form.

It's been my word for the week. I have a project going on and half the project team gets their undies knotted over ever minor thing that comes down the line. It gets old telling them to "relax I already have that covered"
So an undie knotting session would be an opportunity to get your undies knotted over something trivial.
