It is a famous fictional train, immortalized in song. I remember the Roy Acuff version. Wabash Cannonball

I think Kate would have let you know if it was a chat thread. :)

Hey Kath, we need a clarification for non-chat pages. How long can they go on? The "Concerts recently attended" thread is nearing 100 pages. Can it continue on and does it have to stop at 100?

Well, we can ask PS103 what she'd like to do. I would not start a new thread until she says what to do.

I think we can just ride that one out to the end of the year, then someone can start a new one for 2009. (The thread is a couple of years old.)

I like that idea--yearly threads for the threads popular enough to get in the 100 page region. That seems to be a decent middle ground between cutting off all the time (on 3-page threads) and letting them run forever.

Hey Kath or Ps103: I didn't know where else to post this but I know y'all read the stuff up here so I posted it here. Is there a way that y'all could have a thread up here in the top section with links to the threads for the various groups and artists? That way, if someone is looking for the L5 thread or the thread for Mike and Kelly Bowling or one for Ivan Parker, etc, they wouldn't have to search through page after page looking for it. There would be a quick links post right on the first page. There was a post like that at one time that had links for some of the groups but it went away.

I personally would like to see such a post given its own separate thread, as opposed to being post #52 in this thread. Meanwhile, perhaps the bumping posts and game threads could be posts #2 and #3 in the folder rules thread. That way we could have only two threads at the top - one for the rules and one for convenient links.
