Wouldn't your prayers serve a better purpose if they were focused on helping your husband mature and put his family life first?

The only issue I have with what you are trying to say - is if you look at what she wrote he is coming across like a poor little rich boy. He is acting like he is 'entitled' to these things, and he is showing NO compassion for anyone else! He is adding things to the mix so that he can be upset. He totally disregarded his wife's feelings and effort to make his birthday something special. I don't know if compassion is what he needs at this point.

Why can you only go on a weekend? Why not hire a babysitter during the week?
