ORIGINAL: karlie quote:
I don't like the idea of something attached to my ear and I'd rather not talk on the phone while driving Me either...I seldom drove and talked even before the law went into effect unless it was a very brief call like to get directions or check on someone's schedule. But I commute two hours to school, and sometimes it can't be helped if I need to be in touch with my family about something brief. In town, I just pull over, but most of my drive is on the freeway making the earpeice much more convenient if needed. Oh goodness, I am on my phone all the time - especially when I'm driving long distances - because I'm alone. It helps to keep me awake and keep me focused on what I'm doing - contrary to popular belief. If/when I do end up able to drive long distances again, I'll have to get the bluetooth, just for that reason. But, I used to talk to someone on his all the time, and it was difficult to hear him many times - especially if he had his windows open.
