There are only 3 of us here so it shouldn't be that quiet. We got t fairly quiet now. Many kids are in the creek and the little ones are watching TV DD1 and David are buddies. DS and Timothy are buddies. DD2 is mixng around a little and helping with the little girls. Hazel's DS2 was even chatting it up with my dd1 and David

Thank you, Judy. I know it is in AL--I have an uncle there, and if we got a cheap ticket he might be able to go next year. I didn't know about the scholarships, though. Thanks!

We'll try ... hopefully next year I won't be on the verge of labour. (Honestly, if he had come a week or so ago, we may have actually tried to make the trip!)

Yah, I wish everyone cuold make it here... It's been fun meeting my imaginary friends. And now these poor unsocializeed home school kids will have someone to play with. Yesterday's kids fun run was so cool. It was a grassy path around the yard. A couple of times a kid would trip and fall down, only to have the kid behind them stop and help them up. I've seen fun runs before and have never seen that before. Not saying that it wouldn't happen. but to see all the kids working together was great! Time to check on the pizzas. We are eating like kings and queens this week!

Hey, has anyone sent their kid to space camp/space academy? my brother went when we were teenagers...he LOVED it. I have no clue about scholarship programs for it though...he worked for over a year to afford to go himself (my parents couldn't afford to pay for it). sounds like y'all are having a blast. ONE YEAR we will be there too...this year hubby had to be off so much with his surgeries that they weren't even keen on him taking off two weeks when Justice was born, so taking off again right now wouldn't have been able to be done. For us, driving would be cheaper then flying though...because of the number of tickets we would need. Driving though is about a three day trip from where we live (when you factor in the distance and that I have night blindness and the stopping, etc)

Ummm.... Jen, when were you in prison, and for what??? His, Zoebob, and I just got back from Donna's. She is looking pretty good. We had a great time, and looked at lovely pics that donna had taken. It was so nice to sit and visit with her. I am so exhausted. We aren't usually up this late.

and looked at lovely pics that donna had taken Did you just call Brian's behind "lovely"? He'll laugh when I tell him that. After I have all our pictures together for the lawyer, I am going to make a folder on photobucket and let everyone see them, if they want. Fair warning...for Brian's hip surgery, they had to cut through his butt. We counted staples yesterday...44 on his cheek alone.

Didn't want to...but she did look! LOL It's a hip/butt...everyone has a couple. That one is the easiest to look at anyway, IMO, since it is a surgical wound and not like his leg.

I am amazed that they could fix his hip through that one inscission. It s amazing what they can do! It was a good size cut though.

Good morning everyone!! DD started Orthodontist appt. today. Busy, busy, busy!! Someone should of warned me of how many dent. doc. ortho. hair cuts, eye exams...etc....etc... that 5 children would give a person!!! We have had a break from the heat and had perfect weather (except for nasty misquitos!) We are in debt.... but I'm happy today, for some reason, it is not bothering me! Maybe because the Orthodontist is 500 dollars less than expected and DH will hopefully be getting a job soon:)

There are a lot of immigrants here from both the former USSR and many Islamic countries. This can be a bit dicey. Last night at Wal-Mart a Muslim employee stabbed a Russian employee. On my sis' bf's shift...can't wait to ask him about it, lol. I am having the hardest time getting us out of the house this morning! I need to go to the store and to my dad's house, and we have to leave for the meet at 1.

Donna, does Brian know his butt is gonna be on photobucket for all to see? He's Brian. Do you think he cares? It's not an indecent shot, I promise, or I wouldn't have shown anyone. Indecent IRL, maybe, but not in a picture if that makes sense?
