because of my family and the hurricane predicted to hit close to them, we decided to put the pics off for a few weeks and keep this money as a cushion "just in case" it is needed for something/someone. So I told the kids they could wear their clothes to church this morning...they are excited...lol.

LOL....we aren't in the way of the storm (we are in OK), but I grew up (from 3rd grade on) on the TX/LA border where ti meets the Gulf...so all my friends and most family are down there....evacuating north right now. If it looks like it will be keeping them from home for more then one or two days then we will have house guests...so we want to have a little extra "cushion" right now just in case....and the pictures will be about $200, so that's where we are getting it from (trying to leave savings alone as much as possible). So we talked about logistics of it, and decided that we will wait til the first payday of next month...that will give us time for Jack's hair to grow out a bit and me to get my eyebrows done (when we went the other day they were out of wax strips at the hair place, so I couldn't get them done). It also gives me time to make something for the girls hair to match their shirts...

. Bummer for sure, but oh well....they will still be cute whenever we do get them!!! The main purpose is to get them done before Christmas so we can send them to grandparents as gifts.
