Sure, when ticket prices come down out of the stratosphere. Don't about where you live, but the average ticket price here in the NYC metro area is close to $100. I just don't make that kind of money.

So it's lame to support the musicians who want to get their royalties? Tell ya what, work a few weeks for free at your job and see how happy you are with your circumstances. "Not much" is a whole lot better than "nothing at all".

Fogerty's problem was with his manager, not the record label. That's what the song "Vance Can't Dance" is all about.

I stopped going a long time ago and choose only particular artists to go see. This month is the LA County Fair and they usually have older bands but some good ones. This year's list includes the Doobie Bros (with Grand Funk Railroad), Smokey Robinson, Lifehouse, The Bangles (with Berlin and the Motels). The prices are reasonable (unless you want to be stageside) and the venue is medium sized so its not so bad as a Coliseum show. The sound system has great sound. Last year my family and I saw Heart.

I used to like to get a concert Tee but I saw the prices go from $5 for a regular ($8 for a baseball tee) to over $30.00 for regular tees. For one concert for me and my wife plus a tee shirts, dinner and babysitting, I can take the family to Disneyland the most expensive (happiest) place on earth!

Disneyland disclaimer: That's just to get in the door. Not counting the food cost and snacks.

I am late getting into this topic, but I think in this ase I would have to side with the blogger. Mainly because Axl was promising this album for what the past 15 years and still nothing?

But yes, ticket prices are insane. I thought about buying Journey and The Police tickets. Then I saw the price and heard my jaw smack the floor. I won't even get started on Disney because I have a personal grudge against them after what they did to Nightwish down in Orlando.

I walked into Barnes & Noble the other day and saw a new book out by him. I forget the name but why do I need to read about someone's loser lifestyle. I already got the evening news!

What did Disney do to Nightwish?

Well Nightwish were suposed to play a gig at a venue that was on Disney grounds. They got kicked off because of being metal and they wanted to save their family image. They weren't he only metal band to be thrown out of their venues. When I heard the reason for it and I was thinking. With everything that disney has done and they want to maintain family friendly environment. Ok then.....
