Kate!!!

You've just led a sheltered life.

I experimented with this in the 70s.

I guess we just misspent our youths in different ways

In the 70's I ate mayonnaise on fries--can't remember why, but no doubt due to the evil influence of someone at college. (Now I think mayonnnaise is pretty disgusting on anything but a left-over turkey sandwich.)

As fond as I am of chocolate, I cannot honestly say I ever wanted a chocolate potato.

I will take y'all's word for it that it is good.

I like mayo on my fries, too. It's' the Eurosnob in me.

I actually like to mix it with mustard and ketchup (well, did) till its a nice peachy colour...

*That* would explain where I got that--there were a lot of those at college

Hi MIASMA!!! Long time no see...you are missed around here!

I haven't had a frostie or fries in so long, I forgot what they taste like, but when I did eat them I never did the dipping thing.

I don't like frosties/milkshakes and I rarely buy fries. I think each to their own. Just leave me alone!

Ice cream and crispy fries in general are da bomb! LOVE it. I especially love it with fries that have the skin on.

I think I love it so much cause I like the salty/sweet combination. I had maple ice cream with bits of crispy bacon in it and it was quite delish. Choco covered potato chips rock as well!

I'm not a fan of Wendy's fries and I'm not a fan of frosties.

I love a salty/sweet combo, but this particular combo is not for me.

I dip wendy's fries in a frosty all the time - yummy

Steak fries need ketchup.

All other fries need mayo and sometimes with a little mustard mixed in.

now I want fries

when I don't do the frosty, I dip my fries (from Wendy's) in honey... still yummy.

If I'm at McDonald's I dip fries in sweet-n-sour sauce.

I've never had that. Seems utterly disgusting. Should it done with just normal coke? Normal salted peanuts? It may be disgusting but I'd be willing to try it once...

When I go back home...I have this intense craving for an RC Cola and bag of Tom's p-nuts poured inside the bottle. Yummy Yummy

I don't do fries in them but when they used to keep crackers out at the salad bar ....yeah long ago...

Dipping Saltines in the Frosty.... not that was awesome.

I used to love Potato chips dipped in peanut butter too.... lunch of champions in college because they were both cheap and I could keep them in my dorm room without fuss.

It has been a treat at least since my mother was a teenager in the 50's.

Works best with a coke in a tall glass bottle wth a pry off lid. Drink a good swallow of the coke, then pour in a package of peanus (the size typically in vending machines), a little at a time.

Description HERE

Excellent short video Here.

A friend and I agreed to try it together tomorrow. I'm going do it with dr pepper (my preferred drink). I'll report back on our findings afterwards. lol

I prefer to drink Dr. Pepper over Coke. Never tried it with peanuts, but it might be good.

Gina, I like fries with honey. When I ate meat, I loved to dip chicken nuggets in honey too.

Soft pretzels (salted) are great in honey as well. Yumm.

NOT or NOW??

I tried that and I didn't think it was so awesome at all. Not utterly unedible, just not so good as fries and a frosty.
