Oy. This is the part of my life I wish I could do over. I had my first real boyfriend when I was 13. I dated several guys before I was 16. I started dating my husband when we were 16 and 18. I wish I just would've held off dating until him. I had some very bad experiences and I was too young.

I was a sophomore in high school- 3 days from being 15. Not quite 7 years later I married him.  Its been 4 years and I'm looking forward to many more!

Of course not.
Having said that, hubby was not my first kiss...but I do not regret that one bit. My first kiss was sweet, and perfect, and from a great guy who was a true friend in every sense of the word. He waited four years for me, hoping that I would return his affection. It never was 'right' for us (and once I started dating hubby, I knew why) but I am glad we shared that kiss before we went our separate ways. It is one of my fondest memories.

My first real boyfriend I met right before I turned 17. I had a few in college before I met Dustin.
I don't really regret any of it. I kissed a few frogs, and it might sound horrible, but I'm kind of glad I did. That's just me though.

My first real boyfriend was when I was 15, we dated for two years, but we broke up because he worked too much (yeah kinda stupid at the time, I was too needy), then I dated another guy for two years and moved to Oregon with him, he cheated on me a lot. After that I dated one guy, but it didn't work out because he had some head injuries (PTSD and bipolar) from the Gulf that made him really hard to get along with. After, that I met my hubby.

I was a month shy of 16. We started "going out" while on a youth mission trip. (ha! i laugh now after being a leader in youth ministry). The relationship was short and sweet (3 months), but my dad kinda forced us to break up. But I had a bf on my sweet 16, so that was nice.

I was just barely 14.
We dated about 10 months. He broke up with me, but then wanted to get together. I told him absolutely no way on earth. He then turned scary and stalked me for about 2 years. *sigh* Only backing off when my brother, and some men that worked with my dad threatened him within about an inch of his life. He was a christian, and had been very nice to me when we were dating, except that he pushed my limits (in many ways), and for that I don't appreciate him having been in my life, well that and the stalking.
Then the next serious boyfriend was at 25. We dated for 6 months. He talked about marriage, and then broke up with me, and denied he had ever talked of marriage whatsoever... um, ok.
Then David and I met here on crosswalk, and married when I was 31... after knowing each other for just over 3 years.

I was around five or six. I had decided very young that I wanted to get married and be a mom, and I figured I should get an early start. I tried out just about every other boy in my Sunday School class (gave them hand-made cards that said "I Love You" or "Will You Be My Boyfriend?" on them. Some of them were really creative. I remember one in particular that I made in the shape of a face, and I had glued some green gingham cloth on the cardboard for the skin, and added red yarn for hair. I think the boy I gave that one to thought I was insulting him.
Most of the boys in my class were not interested in girls at all, but one of them finally said he'd be my boyfriend. He was my boyfriend until I was about twelve, when one of the girls that I really admired at church asked me if I was ever going to break up with him. I said, "Oh, probably." and she asked when and I said, "Oh, I don't know" and she said, "How about now?" So that's how we broke up.
He was my first kiss, at the age of eight. It's crazy how many years I spent, even after I broke up with him, still liking him. I haven't heard from him in years. I know he got into drugs when he was older, though.
I had one other boyfriend besides my husband, and again it was one of those gotta-have-a-boyfriend deals. I was 14 that time and I never even liked him. I tried to, I really did, but I just couldn't make myself like him.

I just have to say again how great it is that there are women out there who have or want to wait to have their first and only kiss with their husbands! I was one of them, and proud of it too! Go girls!

I was 16...it was a very sweet relationship that I will remember fondly...I don't regret a minute of the year we dated.

I recognize that this will sound ridiculous, but my first boyfriend was when I was in first grade and he was in kindergarten in California. He was a year younger and it didn't matter one bit; I loved him beyond measure. He was the sweetest boy I had ever known, a precious child, who loved me back. Joey and I played together at every chance we got -- usually cowboys and Indians or fire chief and police. He also had a great toy vehicle we pedaled up and down F Street. Then one Sunday morning, a drunk driver hit him as he was crossing the street to meet his father, who was on the way home from work. His father saw it happen.
Then there was Duane in Mississippi, but that was likely one-sided. Then Bobby in Kentucky, who sang like an angel. Then my present husband in Missouri, who broke up with me. That was when I married my first husband and he married his first wife. They both died, then we got married anyway.
I always went for the really sweet guys, and Joey was the first of these. I mourned his death for years, never really coming to grips with it until well after my first husband died.

I had my first boyfriend when I was 14 and a freshman in high school (although technically I couldn't go out on dates until I was 16). I remember being so embarrassed before that because I hadn't had a boyfriend yet.  I look back now and think, I was so young, what was I doing with a boyfriend at that age... I'm 26 years old now, and next year I'm going to get married to my best friend (and the first and only man I've dated since becoming a Christian).

It only went downhill from there. I can think of only one guy that I dated that respected me and didn't want to use me. And I dumped him because he was too nice. 
I was 24 and had begun to think I would never find THE ONE. And then I did.
