http://www.heelarious.com/sophie.php They keep showing these over and over on TV around here. Weird looking in my opinion.

Ewwwww. I am a high-heel lover all the way, but I'd never buy those for my little girl. Those are beyond tacky.

LOL! They're kinda cute in a tacky way. So, they are for babies that don't walk yet, yeah, like a newborn? They don't look like they'd stay on very well like velcrow booties or Robeez type.

I'd be concerned about the shape of those toes. Surely they are squeezing the babies foot which could be permanently damaging. Not to say extremely tacky

I don't think they would hurt the child's feet because they are made from soft material. I think they would be a great "gag" gift - something to make everyone laugh at a shower. I can't imagine actually using them.

Meh, I think they're cute but I wouldn't get them. Granted I knitted a pair of crib shoes that had little bunny ears attached and a bunny face stitched on. It's just another attempt at being "cute" with baby shoes.

I saw these on the news last night. Supposedly they sell them in a store nearby. I think they are pretty goofy looking, but harmless. And yes, they are for babies 6 months and younger because they are pretty much slippers (they are squishy and roomy) and not meant to walk in.

Yeah, they cost $35 - a lot for a gag gift. Maybe in a couple years I can find some at a thrift shop!

They remind me of Miss Piggy's shoes.

ORIGINAL: ta_mosquito They remind me of Miss Piggy's shoes. LOL Me too. Another concern for me is that even though they aren't meant to walk in they have that high heel slope thing going on. It's not like they are flat with the heel sticking out. It can't be good for their feet to be in that shape either.

I think they are probably flat on the inside and the heal gives that illusion.

They are in sizes 0-6 months. They definitely aren't meant to walk in.

Why do we insist on marketing things for little girls that make them look like grown women! It would be funny if it wasn't a whole under current in society, make up, low cut dresses, etc.....and we wonder why girls 10 and above are having sex and doing other things that only adults should be.

I think they are cute but wouldn't ever buy them if I had a little girl.I hate the trend of little girls wearing miniskirts, halter tops, etc.Little girls are too little to be looking sexy.

We've had to set a rule in our house for our daughter. If she wouldn't be allowed to wear it when she's 13, she can't wear it now at 16 months. It's amazing to me how many outfits do get ruled out because of that! --Kat
