Hi Pengie! I told you I'd try to drop in on ya when I could. So...how's things going for you today? I've been keeping up with reading your posts; even though I've not had the chance to post anything until now. Nevertheless, I've kept up with my prayers for you and your family. Sorry to hear that you've been so weak. But having Bronchitis on top of everything else you have to deal with, is probably the cause for the added fatigue! My sister suffers from Bronchitis too, and she gets so weak from the breathlessness! I'll continue praying for you sis. Keep us updated on your prognosis, okay?

Hope things with your dh is working out better, too!

This is hard to ask, but we need prayer, no my husband needs prayer. You see we discovered $1000 was illegally withdrawn form his checking account and the bank can't trace the source.
We needed that money to pay the mortgage, groceries and assorted medical bills. My husband has spiraled down into a deep depression like I haven't seen in years. He only got out of bed twice yesterday to use the bathroom and never ate a thing. With his Bipolar/depression illness, who knows how long he could be down? Or where it could lead?

I know he is a tough and sometimes cruel man who places way too much focus on money. (Last night he told me he had nothing to live for) But, if you think of him (or me) today, would you please say a little prayer?
Thanks!

Thanks to all those whp prayed for us. My husband seems to be coming out of his depression, which I know is God given.
We have never recovered any money, but are getting by.

Unfortunately, my new puppy got a bit sick and ran up a $300 vet bill, but she is worth it. Just had to tighten our belts even further.

Through it all, my husband has stayed calm and controled. The new medicine must be helping him a lot! We haven't picked a counselor yet, though that is next on our to-do list.

I was just recently was diagnosed with bronchitis. That has slowed me down a bit. Specially with going up and down back porch steps trying to potty train a puppy!

GEE-WHIZ! $300.00? It cost me under $75.00 to get my little Shi-tzu a complete check up (including X-rays), 2 meds. and his Frontline. Was this a serious problem with Thumbelina or possibly a house-call? Seems really expensive to me!

I hear 'ya loud and clear on that one sis! We've had to squeeze the dollars so hard at times, that we were leery the neighbors would hear the presidents screaming!!!

But on a good note. I'm glad your dh is doing so much better! I'll keep him in my prayers, Pengie. (Also praying about your bronchitis.)

My mom has had bronchitis her entire life. Somewhere around 1960, she had to have more than half of her lungs removed. She's still alive though, and I think she's healthier now than ever before.

That's amazing, Ray! Does she have to use oxygen now though? (Since part of her lungs have been removed.)

No, the lungs grew back I think. Sometimes she does need a Prednisone inhaler though.

I've been wondering where Pengie has been so finally I e-mailed her. Just got this reply:

I have been quite ill. Had a long hospital stay and am now on heavy pain meds that have me very disoriented. I had a bad infection that caused some kidney damage. A CT scan showed my kidney function is weakened. Am home with nursing care. Mostly bed bound.

I told her we'd all be praying for her.
