I sold my place when the market was just beginning to peak. My plan was to purchase a condo, but a hurricane (or three) came through and I noticed a lot of flooding in the area, so I decided that condo was a bad idea. I was going to purchase a townhouse after that, but something just didn't feel right about the deal, so I declined. I've been renting ever since and I'm really not regretting it right now. I mean, I miss having my own place, but I'm saving a LOT of money by not having to take care of my own yard, etc.
