None the less, the equating of the beast in the revelation with the antichrist in the epistles is rabbinic(doctrinal).

I agree... i wasn't talking about that... Anti-Christ is biblicaly and clearly defined as one who denies Jesus Christ. I wasn't talking about the anti christ/s in that statement.
1 John 2:22
Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist�he denies the Father and the Son.

I was talking about False Christs.... What do you think abonination of desolation is?!
does it not say that satan wants to be God?! he wants to sit in the temple of God? Does it not say that there will be many wonders and miricals.. people will be decieved. Who on earth do you think that will be??? A obvious red guy with a pointy tail?! NO BUT THE WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING. Sheep = Lamb = Christ, Wolf = You know who. Imposter of Christ. Will he Deny christ?! Yes... the Real Jesus... I don't know but my hunch is he will declair himself as the christ.... NOW THAT IS ULTIMATE BLASPHEMY!! Abomination of Desolation.

Some people just drive me insane because they are so condecending. Love the brotherly love...

I don't plan on being around for no mass deception either (pre-trib rapture); however, we know people will realize the truth after the rapture and come to Repentance in Jesus.

I beg to differ JimboFletch. Yes his sheep know is voice an harkon onto him. But I wasn't saying someone who is at that point that they are in tune with him. i said "Now somenoe who doesn't really know him may be decieved for fear that really is Christ" it says countless warnings against following counterfits and deceivers. ITs all over 1 John for instance.

Now there is tons of verses in the bible about warning about being lead away. But read this and tell me that someone can't be lead away:
Matthew 24:24
For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect�if that were possible.
From what I understand biblically the "elect" are christians... and can be lead away. I beleive it says "if that were possible" because that doesn't encompass all (the ones who are steadfast and in tune with the voice of his shephard)... i think it only encompass some (weak).

Totally agree with you here JinboFletch, though many folks will try to make it something else, you put the truth very plainly.

It is plain enough; Christ was casting out devils by the Holy Spirit, some claimed the work of the Holy Spirit was of the devil; and Jesus set them straight.

Folks need to be really careful about claiming that things of the Holy Spirit are of the devil.

I know this is an old forum,but I read everyone's opinion on this subject. To Blaspheme the Holy Spirit ,one must be against Jesus and his works done by the Holy Spirit totally. This person who Blasphemes the Holy Spirit doesn't want forgiveness. The Pharisees didn't.
