I feel tired and a bit heavy in spirit right now; there is a young man that works in the ministry I work in - during our conversation, it became very apparent that he was not saved. (He feels that there are many paths to God). I told him that his beliefs are new age - but he basically dismissed it. It will be very difficult to reach him because he has a lot of head knowledge; and he has to speak with someone who he respects intellectually. I'm praying that the Lord will bring someone across his path who will be able to relate to him and at the same time be versed in dealing with people who are into new age teachings and philosophy.

I also feel kind of "wrecked" inside. I don't know about you guys, but there are a seasons when it feels like God is stripping everything away from you. In the midst of change and new opportunities, God is stripping away everything - all of my self-reliance. I am trying very hard to simply surrender - because that is the easiest way to do this ... just cooperate with the Lord and let him humble me as much as he wants to. But it is still painful.

Well - I heard some great news! Someone I know who was homeless, now has a home and transportation. I couldn't help the person (because of a number of issues), but God provided. So I'm feeling wonderful right about now!
