I feel like eating spaghetti and meatballs now! It's my favorite meal!!

Alas ... the munchkin has decided to take over making dinner tonight (grilled ham and cheese sandwiches), so I feel blessed to have a son who enjoys cooking like his mom does.

Yes! You're so sweet!

I have turkey meatballs in the freezer, would you like some? Leftover spaghetti is the best! I love when the sauce soaks into the noodles.

Sure, turkey meatballs sound good. I usually just like my spaghetti with little chunks of meat...think the meat has more flavor that way, but what do I know I'm not a COOK!

You are a cook and didn't even know it! I have some Italian friends and they use thin slices of beef and roll it up and stick a toothpick in it, and then add it to the sauce. It's so good. Mmm Mmm. I forget what that's called, brizoli or something like that. (Okay, I'm sure that just made somebody laugh because I'm positive I spelled that wrong. LOL)

Anyway, getting back to topic ... right now, I feel hungry for spaghetti!

Frustrated at my messed up health. I wish I could heal from my '06 surgery (and the '04 surgery as well). I wish I could heal from these disorders, and I wish the tumor would go away.
Depressed because no one understands...and because I don't have much help with some things I desperately need it with.
I can't seem to get the things I need (not want, but need).
I want peace at home, but there's not much of that.
I'm sad and overwhelmed. Stressed and overworked...
That's all.

(But I do have some cookies.)

....sad, as I expect to be for awhile, but excited about my trip and birthday. I get to do a really difficult hike through beautiful hills and valleys, with 24 strangers next weekend.....plus some rest and relaxation in a really beautiful place....what more can I ask? I really want to be alone, but being with strangers, and not talking about my normal life would breathe some newness in me.

I just hope it's not some dude ranch that I'm going to....it doean't look like it...it's got a spa and lots of little shops and cafes and restaurants, plus beautiful lakes and trails. So excited. Pray that nothing goes wrong. My daughter will be coming with me and no one, other than my friend who's giving me this whole trip as a gift knows where I will be.
