I feel run down and tired of working waaay too many hours...

At the same time thankful that I have a job.

(((((Samson))))) I feel I can relate to working too many hours. Are you able to relax on the weekends?

I'm at work now and have been working every Saturday for the past few weeks. I attend Saturday night services after I get off work and then on my only day off on Sunday I'm up early to train and then off to serve in Childrens Ministry with 3 yr olds and then Kindergarten kids. But thanks be to God that the priviledge to be able to serve refreshs me more than staying home and sleeping in would.

I used to love working with 3-5 year olds!! Just recently, I thought about volunteering for preschool again, but my schedule is just too unpredictable and they need someone who has a more reliable schedule.

You already know, I'm sure, you've got a burn-out kind of schedule. So treat yourself and don't forget to do things you enjoy! Maybe go to a football game or something!

LOL you've never seen me at a football game, nothing relaxing about that! I do thank you Grace N Mercy for your kind words of encouragement and I'm going to take your advice. Right before I left work I got asked out. I usually don't date members but she looked so shy as she stumbled through asking me if I wanted to hang out with her sometime that I couldn't say no. So I have a dinner date after Church. It should be fun, I've been a good boy on my diet so a great steak dinner with attractive company might just be what the doctor ordered. Blessings all.

All this talk of "burn out" reminds me of something....do any of you feel burned out from your daily routine? I'm just getting sick and tired of "going through the motions" every day...stuff to deal with at work, stuff to deal with at church....issues with family and friends, etc. I need to feel inspired again. I don't make enough time in my life for "new experiences," but it's tough to do with all my current obligations.....

Any of you feel the same?

I feel like saying yes, you are NOT the only one who gets sick of the 'same old same old'

Earlier today on the drive home from the airport I felt totally bummed. I talked to a lady on the shuttle to the parking lot about Madison and Nashville Indiana. Both of which are full of quaint little interesting shops that I love to just browse through. And it was a perfect day for that sort of activity, clear and beautiful, with the leaves turning colors. But alas, I have no lass to do that with. I'm just so sick of being alone.

But tonight I'm feeling more like my normal cheerful self. God will provide. I just have to hang in there until He does.

Had a very late night, got up really early to hike the mountain, and then spent a couple of hours running around the church playground with 18 three yr olds. Hmmm how do I feel right now? Z Z Z Z z z z ....

Right now I feel a little sad.........I am at a coffee house trying to do homework........a senior gentleman and a gentlewoman(about my age) are eating a few tables over...........he obviously has a few physical limitations and she is helping him.........a half hour earlier a senior gentlewoman was sitting at the table next to me with a young lady(a few years younger then me) chatting about their day and thoughts on life.........

Two reminders of what I have lost.....I really miss taking care of daddy.......I miss his grumpy replies to stop babying him and he can do it himself........and I miss talking to him........that is what I miss the most.......just sharing life together daily.

LOL I just turned my face towards the sun........it is so beautiful out today.......funny how the sadness doesn't leave yet it doesn't hurt near as badly when our faces are turned towards the son.

Now in my sadness I feel the warmth of hope..love..and peace.

Kind of disturbed in my spirit. Partly for a friend - partly because I feel that the Lord is reconfirming his plan for my life - not only as I pray, but from the mouths of people who don't know me.

I feel like I want to know if Medium OneOne is in the teal shirt or the white shirt.

I feel like I am sorry that Popsi, John_O, Sunluvin and others are feeling bad.

I feel that after losing a lot of weight (and no, NOT on a crash diet..it was a long time of eating healthy and exercising)..instead of getting closer to my goal I've gained weight back..not all of it, but still too much..I had been so motivated when I was working with a trainer. Then I had to quit working with him and things got stressful 'round here (mom got breast cancer). I'm going to pray, and also talk to the powers that be about training again. I was feeling so good where I was, and feeling like I was getting closer to where I would want to be to meet a guy, and now I feel bleh.

If you want to know what I mean by "The powers that be," you may pm me.
