Oh, and I've never seen JAG, so I cannot compare the two shows.

JAG was on for ten years and is rerun every weekday morning on the USA network and you have never seen it? Wow!

1) We don't get the USA network in Canada.

2) Nope, never seen it. Wasn't interested. The only reason I got interested in NCIS is because I used to have praise team rehearsal on Tuesday nights. My husband turned on the TV while I was gone for something to do. I'd come home and see the tail end of the show... and I got interested. So we've watched it ever since.

NCIS is a JAG spin-off. IF you like NCIS and you liked Magnum, then you really should like JAG.

Tricia, does Netflix serve Canada?

I don't know if it does or not. But we wouldn't pay for such a service, so for us it's a moot point.

What's Magnum? I've never heard of that.

You did actually grow up in the US, right? And you still managed to miss the sexiest PI in history?

Oh! You mean Magnum PI? Oh yeah - I've seen that plenty of times. I thought you meant something different!

JAG was amazing. David James Elliot was gorgeous. I miss that show....

Did anyone catch the new episode Tuesday? I was partially right as to whodunit. I was watching the show with my daughter and when the senator's wife told Gibbs that her husband would never shoot a woman in the back I told my daughter "she did it." And, I gave her the same reasoning that Gibbs mentioned at the end - that information had not been divulged to the public so only the shooter would know.

What I didn't figure out was that the Senator and his Chief of Staff were in on the cover-up. They got me with that one.

One of these days, I'm going to figure it all out before it is revealed at the end!

Yep, saw it and drew the same conclusion due to that "shot in the back" comment!

So whose were the 4th set of finger prints on the gun case, or didn't they say because it was irrelevant? (If it was a housekeeper, you'd think she'd have cleaned the gun case so her prints wouldn't have been on it anyway.)

I felt bad for the chief of staff, who probably went along with the cover up out of shock or feeling trapped. And in the end, he lost his life for it.

Good ep. I am glad Gibbs did not hide the senator's affair from the director.

Me too...Gibbs wasn't very happy about the Senator from the begining but he certainly had no patience at the end when the guilty party was made obvious.

Whoa...Gibbs' dad in this episode? My wife and her friend think it was the same guy who played the dad on the Waltons.

As usual, interesting turns. Would've been more fun if they'd shown a fight between Gibbs and the family patriarch.

It was definately the same man from the Waltons (Ralph Waite), who was also in an episode of cold case last year or the year before.

I loved loved how even after 30 years, dad had the rifle and was willing to 'show it off' at his kids defense. The end result, as always, was really sad...

Last week, I finally watched my first episodes of NCIS on USA. I can't tell you why I haven't been watching the show. I watched it last night and thought it was very good with Gibbs and his dad. I will be watching on Tuesday nights from now on and catching any of the old episodes on USA when I can.

Yes, this was a good one. The hug at the end was just priceless, and LJ's flashback at the train station even better!

It was nice that they made him less of an 'enigma'... and showed a side to him that is very seldom seen.

We have seen his family, and Zeva's, so hopefully we will be seeing a backstory on some of the others...

Where was Vance, come to think of it?

Some episodes don't involve the director. It was that way with Jenny, too.
