Yeah, I would say that is much more with me also. Also, I am called to the carpet anytime my actions do not line up with what a Christian should do as well.

Yep Mike. The red carpet experience happens to all of us I think. Sometimes people think they need to be the ones to condemn us for not living a PERFECT, stereotypical Christian life, or sometimes we even put that on ourselves through having accountability parts, but other times through conviction...

When I was in college I lived in the rather close knit men's dormitory floor. After I became a Christian, God convicted me about the fact that our floor dues were used for immoral activities, particularly the 'porn nights' that the floor hosted on occasion. I withheld that portion of my dues that went to pay for such activities, and was as a result stripped, dragged down to the showers, and had buckets of ice dumped on me.

Frequently I would have other guys on my floor loudly invite me to go to strip clubs and parties in the dining area and dens because they liked to laugh when I would say that my faith in Christ didn't allow me to do such things.

Eventually, I became somewhat known for defending my faith on campus through my involvement on various commitees and student organizations; this often resulted in public denounciations from professors and in the student newspaper that ran more than one editorial naming me by name for public rebuke.

It has gotten easier since then.
