ORIGINAL: wbporter Quite a few years ago, someone in our office was asked to play "There is Love" at the wedding of someone we both knew. He wanted to play the fast flowing notes the way Peter Stookey did and asked me to write it down for him. Not being a guitar player I asked him where the guitar's open strings were on a piano staff, but he had no idea what I was talking about and there wasn't much I could do to help. I have since met people who were music majors in college but hardly ever need to apply anything they learned when performing. Greetings quote:
I asked him where the guitar's open strings were on a piano staff Generally... the note can found in the Bass Clef, I least that is where I look first, to find out whether or not the cord is major or minor and stuff like that, just knowing the scales... we can find that out in the treble clef. LG
