Something to think about. Did the pagans or the devil create any of the days of the year. Can they add or delete one second of any of those days. No they can't. God created the days and they belong to Him and always have and always will. The fact that pagans chose one of the days for some sort of celebration does not and cannot alter that fact.

Any day we give Glory to God is a Holy Day regardless what some people may do.

So if God created all of the days and we use one or more of them to celebrate the great things He has done then we are not borrowing anything from the pagans. We are reclaiming for God what has Always been Gods.

Is it just possible that perhaps far too much time & effort is spent on regurgitating history lessons that the the point is missed? Sort of like the Pharisees who spurted their "knowledge" all over Jesus as His disciples who were traveling with Him, in hunger, picked the heads of grain to eat on the SABBATH! (Matt.12:2) "Look, Your disciples do what is not lawful to do on a Sabbath."

It is a right & good thing to discern the Spirit, but I really think we need to take a close look at why we debate trivialities.
