Happy Tuesday islanders! Are you enjoying the cool ocean breeze and light showers?

Sarah you will have to come over sometime. I may plan a small housewarming.

So far, there are four pieces of furnitures to shoot for...a smaller dining table, a dresser, a small coffee table and a comfy chair for the living room. I think the dresser is priority though. We'll see what we can buy with the money we receive in gifts. Ha.

Are we all invited? Should we bring some duct-tape nice decorations?

I'm in complete control of all decorating. So...no.

You are all invited though. We could have a small Hawaii GT/housewarming!

The lady at our ceremony site must be really busy. August is a BUSY wedding month. I'm having a hard time getting in touch with her. Will try again tomorrow if I don't here from her.

Well first I sprayed it with Lysol to 'drug' it. Then I smashed it with a hammer.

ROFLOL!!!! I'm sorry, I know that it probably wasn't fun....but the mental picture is funny.

I had to "slice up" a scorpion one time that didn't want to die after an attempted squishing on a carpet. I was housesitting at the time. I hate scorpions, and this one fell from the ceiling fan. I just about died, because it hit me before it hit the floor.

I would have just about died also. Thankfully I have not dealt with a Scorpion.

Is settling in nicely.
I wonder if by the time our honeymoon comes that the airline with all these charges will reduce themselves to charging $5 to use the toilet.

Wow it's been quiet.

I'm at the new place today. With the exception of going to the dentist to get my cavities taken cared of, no running around today. I need to rest a bit.

So tomorrow John and I will visit a Saturday morning service. It's rather difficult for him to attend Friday night services so I'm going to mainly go by myself about three out the the four weeks in a month. I only know of one church so far with Saturday morning services and it's a very big church. But being off Saturdays together with a morning service will be great for us since we'd like to follow Shabbat traditionally.

After church tomorrow I'm thinking of going to the Navy Exchange here and looking at their furniture. My Aunt can get it for us. I saw in their paper a 4 piece bedroom set for under $500!!! That's INSANE!

I know! I'm excited to go look!

Looks like we will be getting our coffee table from my Uncle and Aunt. They bought new furniture and said we can have it.

Absolutely!

So I had three cavities filled today and they were big ones. This dentist really tries to prevent root canals as much as possible and if she thinks it can be avoided, she will do so. So please pray that the fillings are enough. I go again next week for two more small ones. Ehehe. But what's nice is that I got white fillings so no more ugly silver ones. The stuff tastes awful though. After the numbness wore off it was very itchy and then got sore. It's slowly getting better. It's frustrating when you want to scratch your gums but can't. lol

I found our today that someone from church has the gift of interpreting dreams. Very cool.

I never tasted the filling stuff, or the stuff they put down before the fillings. I am glad. What I really hate the taste of is what they put on a qtip and stick in your mouth before a shot.

Hi Cath! Yeah that's to help numb in a little for the shot. It had a cherry flavor but it's still bitter. The white filling tasted very sour. I also didn't realize that if you bleed too much they inject ephedrine in your gums to stop the bleeding.

Ok so the Saturday services are not in the mornings but at 5 and 7 in the evening. That's pretty good. If we go to the 5 p.m. one we can make it before sundown.

Cavities are never any fun...I am trying to prevent them by taking care of my teeth; brush and floss. I would love to go to my next clean and hear that I have no cavities.

Because sunset according to The Weather Channel is at 7:05 H.S.T. this evening. So if the service ends at 6 we should have an hour and 5 minutes to spare. 6:30 we would have 35 minutes to spare. Prior to sunset.
