Yeah, I have recovered. It was going to be hard to duplicate last years results.

I saw the last couple of minutes of the Auburn - Miss State game. Sam was watching it and let me know about it. I was watching the USC - Ohio State game.

Yesterday I met with a man in the state pension office.

I have decided to retire from my job with the state. My target date will be next spring. I have been wanting to leave my job for awhile now and I am relieved about having taken this first step.

Many of you will probably ask what will I do after retirement? That question is up in the air, but I may have an indication after this weekend.

We shall see.

I would be retiring even if Pam and I had not gotten together.

But since we have (and I am very thankful for that), retirement may be the first of many decisions I will be making.

Gary, I think that's terrific if you can retire. You are really "young" be retiring compared to most retirees.
Will be praying for you.

I first read that as state prison office.

So, what do you plan to do after you retire??? Travel??? Learn a new language???

I have just gotten back. I need to unpack first, but I will give details tomorrow.

But in a few words, I had a very good weekend.
