Can we get the auto-refresh rate to be quicker? While 10 minutes is good I wonder if we could get to be quicker as well?

I have mixed feelings about auto-refresh. While I like that when I'm here and reading/responding to threads my subs (I keep that window open) will refresh automatically it's stops the post I'm making being the active one ~ so I'm typing away and my text doesn't appear...

I like the 10 minutes update ~ would hate it to be any faster...

Mark, I don't know if you have anything to do with crosswalk ecards, but I wish we just had to put in the handle of the one we wanted to send a card to. Right now we have to know their email address, which makes it very difficult to send to an forums friend. We still would not know their email address ourselves unless they chose to respond to the ecard but it would be nice to be able to send one. If I remember right old CW was that way

I'd like to be able to post my birth year in my profile but not the exact date on which I was born - people could see my age but there'd still be some anonymity regarding the exact day. It's not a big deal, but I'd like to post my "approximate" age without being too specific - I think it's good in some cases for people to know our ages when we post. I'm 41 and I don't want somebody to wonder if I've lived long enough to answer some of the questions I've answered

I would like the feature to be able to send someone an ecard back just by their handle as well.

I would like a button that I can click and fudge will come out. If you can swing it, I would like plain chocolate, raspberry and carmel flavors.

If you hit the eject button on your computer while posting on CW, a cup holder will come out. Although there are some computers that are not properly updated for this feature.

I'd like an option to search within a specific thread. Right now it's not even possible to search for all the posts by a user in a given thread, if that thread has had it's subject line changed.

I'd like to be able to preview my siggy in My Profile instead of having to go into a thread I'd posted in...

I know that it's been asked before, but it'd be great if we could have the formatting characters separate to the text characters in the siggy.

I'd like to have either the "Jump to post" or a "jump to page" option available in the printable page format as well, so that when I want to print something and it goes past five pages, I wouldn't have to keep hitting the arrows until the right page number appears.

I think that there should be a six star rank of Supreme Member for those who reach 10,000 posts or more.

It came up in a couple of posts today . . . would it be possible, please, to bring back the "pre-siggy" (to automatically embed color and font codes into each post).

I would love a little number by "Inbox", telling me how many unread PMs I have.

Certain members of my family are forever clicking away my PM pop-up and not telling me.

You could always turn that option off.

ETA: I just went to 'My Forums' and in my 'Private Message' box it says
'You have 0 unread private messages.' so does that reset to 0 when you have the message notification turned on (I have mine turned off).

I would like it if it would indicate which message is unread as opposed to guessing.

I have a little icon to the left of the pm heading. It's white if it's an old message and yellow if it's a new one (same as is in 'My Forums'). And my new messages are always at the top of my inbox when I go to it.

Hmmm, hadn't noticed that. I think my computer monitor might be slightly color blind.

LOL

And there was me being worried about whether the icon was white or off-white and yellow or gold

Yes, I can see it on that screen. I mean on the screen after that, with more subscriptions on it. That's the one I work from.

I don't want to turn the pop up option off. I want my family to quit clicking "cancel" when it comes up, so I'll know I had a PM. But since I can't make them stop doing that, I thought maybe it would be nice to have a little number by the "inbox" button like there is by the "next unread subscription" button.

Have you tried setting passwords or something to present them from accessing your PC when on CW or elsewhere?

No. This is the family computer. I don't want to block anyone from it. This forum is always open on my computer, but no one else messes with it.

I just wish for a little number by "inbox" so I can tell if I have any unread PMs.

Ok, I'm confused.

Are you wanting the pm number to be beside the 'My Inbox' in Forums Tools or to have and 'Private Message' box (as is on 'My Forums') on the 'Subscribed Threads' as well as 'My Forums'?

Do you mean the way that it says "Next Unread Subscriptions (2)" only you would like one that says "Unread Private Messages (2)"?
