The city where I live, Goleta, CA., has been going thru a big fire. Pray the Fire crews can put it out. It is called the Gap fire.
"The GAP fire has grown from 100 acres on Tuesday to well over 9,000 acres today, Sunday. As of last night, fire crews were able to get it 28% contained. There are still evacuation warnings going on since the fires keep moving in different directions. Some of the brush in the canyons are over 15 feet tall so it makes it real hard to snuff out. Emergency personnel are exhausted but continue fighting hard. The governor ordered more personnel and equipment to fight this fire..." this was off a website I just read in our city...
We are still having a lot of power outages, as well.
Many people have been evacuated from their homes, some have been able to go back.

Dear Lord,
I have seen house and vehicle fires and as a daughter of a firefighter know fighting any fire is a dangerous job. Please give the firefighters and emergency personnel the strength and ablity to cease this fire. Give the people of Goleta, CA and surrounding towns the resources to help those displaced by this fire. May the fire be put out quickly and power restored.
You, Lord are the Creator and Redeemer and by Your strength all will be made new.
In Your name I pray,

I know Goleta... I'm originaly from So Cal... and went throught the fires in Lake Arrowhead... so I truly feel for what you are going through.
Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that You would cause the fires to cease. Lord, calm the winds that continue to fan the flames... and order them to be still. Father, just as you calmed the storm on the sea... calm these fire storms in Goleta, and across California. Lord, protect our brothers and sisters there... protect their families and their homes and their pets and livestock. And Father, be with the many fire crews who work so tirelessly fighting these endless fires, as well as the helicopter and bomber crews. May Your hand of protection and peace be upon them all.
Lord, we know that you are mighty to save, and we ask that You show Yourself victorious and receive all glory for the work You are about to do in stopping these fires.
Thank You Father... In Jesus name...

Father,
Thank you for being there for us. Please help all those who are directly affected by this fire with your protection and comfort while you give extra stamina to the firefighters. Help them all. Thank you for all that you will do for and through them. We praise you and ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord, please protect dagmarharris through all of this catastrophy, please keep them safe and all of the people that are going through this as well. Protect all of the firefighters and all involved who are trying to put out these fires and contain them Lord...Please protect all who are involved!
