My sister-in-law Faith is only 18 years old. She has been in Germany for a few months going to discipleship training. She is in the hospital right now and they found a blood clot in her lung! Please pray for her to be OK and also for her parents to quickly have everything fall in place for them to get out there and be with her. Not to mention, for her & them and the rest of the family to be comforted...

thank you in advance for taking a moment to pray for her and the situation!!!

Father, asking for healing for Faith. That You will comfort her as You heal her and strengthen her faith. Help all to go well for her parents to reach her. Give metallikitty and the whole family Your peace and comfort. In Jesus name I ask. Amen

Father we lift up Faith to you. Father we pray for her healing. We pray that you would be with the doctors. We pray that you would be with the technicians who identify this clot, and that the machines work correctly. We pray that the right prescriptions are implemented and monitored effectively.

Father I especially lift up the family to you. You are the Great Physician, please minister to them, give them hope, and courage. We pray that their travel would work out as planned.

In Jesus Name

Amen

Father I come to you on behalf of Danelle's sister-in-law, Father I am asking you to remove her blood clot from her lung; we are claiming and believing that her clot will vanish, because your word says that we are healed by Jesus' stripes. And we are claiming that healing today for this young lady, in Jesus' name. I am also asking you Father, that you prepare a way for her family to join her in Germany as only you can. And we will forever give you all praise, honor and glory. In Jesus Name. Amen.

Father,

In Jesus' name I ask that you be glorified by the way that you come to Faith's rescue and by the way you help the family. Amen.

Hey everyone, thank you for your prayers and thoughts. Our Lord is SO good...Here is the email I recieved this morning:

Dear family and Friends,

Thanks for the many prayers- God is so good.

We were uncertain as to whether or not we should go to be with Faith, and we certainly couldn't afford it, but look at the doors that God opened:
Les's boss booked our flights using his mileage. He also covered the taxes and surcharges and made a trip to the Cleveland airport to sign the tickets over.
The people we stayed with in Germany the last time we were here were thrilled to put us up again.
One of the elders from our church and a member of our small group offered to help us with expenses and took time off from work to drive us to LAX (an hour away) and come back in traffic.
Another elder offered $200 towards expenses.
Les's sister was also willing to help with money.
Oz Fox offered to stay at our house and watch our animals.
Les's sales guys said they'd run the office.
Joyce's staff gave their blessing and picked up some major projects.
We were able to get a great deal on a car rental- they threw in GPS for free.
A dear friend offered help from UCLA medical center if we felt she needed better care.
All this happened, including packing, in 5 and a half hours and we were out the door!
We continued to get calls of encouragement from all over the country until we boarded the plane.

Faith was so happy to see us and was amazed at how fast we came. We were actually able to see her Thursday evening- it's nine hours later in Germany. She cried and laughed at the same time when she saw us.
When we told her how so many people pulled together to support us with prayer and finances, she wept. It really touched her that so many people care. It was a joy to hug her and reassure her that she was not alone in this.

She is able to get up and walk around. She has an IV, but only gets one bag of nutrients per day. She gets 2 shots a day of the anticoagulant.
Her doctors are reasonably sure that the medication will dissolve the clot, and there are no other clots anywhere else. Thank you Jesus! Their determination of the cause is that it's possibly genetic. She will need to take the medicine orally for the next 3 months, otherwise it would be dangerous for her to fly home.
Her only pain is from the IV and the needles.

The people from the school were praising God that this didn't happen when she was on outreach in Turkey.

Today is a holiday, so they won't process her 24-hour EKG until Monday. She has evidence of some bacteria in her blood, so they are still running tests to determine what that is from. We are hoping all goes well and she can get out on Monday. She is in great spirits and very thankful we are here.

We can see evidence of spiritual growth since she has been here, both in how she is leaning on the Lord in this time, but also in her bible reading and journaling.

Once again thanks for all the prayers. We'll send another update as soon as we have more info.

Please pass this on.

Love,
Les and Joyce
